So as every college student knows, life can get pretty busy... Busy is definitely the word that could sum up this semester for me. Juggling school, my internship, and back and forth from the chiropractor makes me feel like my butt has been glued to my car. With the lack of sleep I have been living off the beloved Diet Pepsi ha ha.
This semester I have been interning with 3TV a local station here in Phoenix.
I am working with the weather department and really loving it. I get to go and do tons of fun things and meet all types of people. I have had many opportunity out here that I don't think I could have had anywhere else. Our school the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication has been ranked the #1 Journalism School is the Nation. I am so honored to be a part of such a wonderful program.
Next year will be my senior year, Yes a senior I know time really flies but i get to be involved in the newscast our school puts on every day. I am the Monday weather girl and reporter on Wednesdays. It is such a competitive school, and feel so lucky to have made it this far. Also something I am hoping for is a internship this summer with the Weather Channel in Atlanta, Georgia. I should be finding out in the next few weeks and can barely stand the wait. I will definitely be keeping everyone posted!
